Apple-who?
Heya! My name is Douglas Appleman, and I'm a singer-songwriter from Cambridge, Massachusetts. I make keyboard-driven pop and alternative music. I began releasing music as a solo artist in 2023, and have been performing locally in the Boston area since!
I played in local Boston rock bands early on in my teenage years. By college, I decided to step away from performing for a couple of years to focus on my academics, but after realizing how much I missed it, I returned to music with a renewed fervor! I continued playing in local bands through 2022, including up-and-coming prog band Sunset Mission, before deciding to start releasing and performing music on my own!
I plan to release an EP of never-before-heard original music in the fall of 2026! This summer, I will be announcing the rollout of the EP's first single! I will also be playing some shows in promotion of the project in and around the Boston area over the next few months.
